Ahead of its August 28 launch in India, French auto major Renault today opened booking for its upcoming compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Triber. Bookings for Triber can be made online or through authorised dealerships by paying ₹11,000. Renault said that despatches of Triber have started to reach its 350 dealerships across India. The seven-seater Triber, which is less than 4 metres in length, will be powered by a 1-litre petrol engine and has been specifically designed for the Indian market, the company said.

Triber gives the flexibility of different seating layouts, depending on the needs of the customer: the 5-seater Life Mode, the 7-seater Tribe Mode, the 4-seater Surf Mode and the 2-seater Camp Mode.
