French auto major Renault on Wednesday launched its compact seven-seater multi purpose vehicle Triber priced between ₹4.95 lakh and ₹6.49 lakh

The seven-seater Triber, which is less than 4 metres in length and is powered by a 1-litre petrol engine, is the second model from the company after Kwid which has been specifically designed and developed for the Indian market. (Renault)

The Triber is a seven-seater MPV with detachable mechanism for the last row seats which allows you to remove them completely and make way for more luggage. The company said it has a robust strategy to build its presence in rural markets which offers significant growth potential. (Renault)

Renault is offering the Triber with just one engine option - 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol motor. Triber comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox which drives the front wheels. The engine currently complies with BS4 emission norms. (Renault)
