India’s two- and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company on Wednesday announced the launch of a special edition of its Radeon motorcycle. Its price starts at ₹54,665.
The bike will be available in two colours—chrome-black and chrome-brown.
In its new elegant look, the TVS Radeon comes with a range of features such as front disc brake, new robust thigh pad design, new petrol tank cushion with emblematic 'R', chrome rear view mirrors and chrome carburetor cover.
The TVS Radeon is powered by a 109.7 cc dura-life engine, equipped with a 10-litre fuel tank and returns a fuel economy of 69.3 kmpl.
“A unique blend of sturdy metal build, robust style and plush comfort, TVS Radeon is targeted at the discerning progressive middle India millennials,” said TVS Motor in a statement.
The two-wheeler manufacturer had launched Radeon in India in August 2018. It claims to have sold over 2 lakh Radeons in last one year.
Aniruddha Haldar, vice president (marketing-commuter motorcycles, scooters and corporate brand) at TVS Motor Company, said, “TVS Radeon has generated unprecedented love from experts and consumers alike. Within its first year of launch over 2 lakh proud consumers are overjoyed with their Buland choice.”
“It adds comfort and premium distinctiveness with an unwavering eye on practicality,” added Haldar.
In a step towards green and sustainable future mobility solutions, TVS Motor introduced India's first ethanol-based bike in July this year.
The company had reported a year-on-year growth of 7.22% in standalone revenue at ₹4,469 crore for the April-June period of the current fiscal year.
Shares of TVS Motor Company on Wednesday closed at ₹402.80, 3.64% higher, on the BSE.
