The Indian automotive market is gearing up for an exciting month of July, with several highly-anticipated car launches and debuts on the horizon. Enthusiasts can look forward to witnessing the arrival of two significant car launches and one debut, along with a notable launch in the luxury car segment later in the month. Let's delve into the details of these upcoming cars that are set to make their mark in July.

Kia Seltos facelift

Kia Seltos facelift has already garnered attention globally since its launch in June 2022. This midsize SUV is finally making its way to the Indian market, boasting a host of cosmetic and feature upgrades. The front and rear of the Seltos have undergone noticeable revisions, giving it a refreshed and modern appearance.

Inside the cabin, drivers and passengers will be greeted by a brand-new interior design that includes twin connected infotainment screens, offering enhanced connectivity and entertainment options. Notably, the Seltos facelift will also introduce the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite, providing an added layer of safety and convenience. While retaining the reliable 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, the Seltos will also offer the new 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor found in the Verna and Carens, providing customers with additional power options to choose from.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto

Maruti Suzuki Invicto marks Maruti's entry into the premium MPV segment priced at 20 lakh and above. Based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, the Invicto takes a unique approach by exclusively offering a hybrid model. Powered by a 183hp, 2.0-litre petrol hybrid powertrain, the Invicto promises a combination of power and efficiency.

Spy shots have revealed minimal changes to the exterior design, indicating a continuation of the familiar aesthetic. Inside the cabin, the Invicto is expected to retain its current layout with minor updates to the trim and upholstery. To maintain competitive pricing, certain high-end features like the ADAS suite may be omitted, focusing on providing a value proposition to customers seeking a premium MPV experience.

Hyundai Exter

Hyundai is also set to make waves in July with the launch of the Hyundai Exter, the brand's smallest and most affordable SUV in India. Built on the same platform as the Grand i10 Nios and Aura, the Exter is positioned as a direct competitor to popular models like the Tata Punch and Citroen C3. Despite its compact size, the Exter exudes the typical styling cues of an SUV, featuring a robust and upright stance along with prominent body cladding.

Inside, the Exter will showcase a familiar dashboard design from its base models but will stand out with the inclusion of an all-digital instrument cluster and a dashcam. Powertrain options will include an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine with both manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) gearboxes. Additionally, customers will have the option to choose a factory-fitted compressed natural gas (CNG) kit, offering an environmentally friendly alternative.

Mercedes-Benz

Last but certainly not least, Mercedes-Benz will introduce the second-generation GLC in India, further strengthening its presence in the luxury car segment. While the exact launch date is yet to be confirmed, interested buyers can already secure their GLC by making a token payment of 50,000. The new GLC will be available in two variants: the GLC 200 equipped with a 2.0-litre petrol engine, and the GLC 220d powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine. These engines deliver impressive performance figures, producing 204hp/320Nm and 197hp/440
