Notably, the newly launched variants of Taigun and Virtus will be accessible to customers through Volkswagen's extensive network of 161 sales touch points located in 121 cities across the country.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, emphasized that the GT badge was initially introduced on the Performance Line versions of the Taigun and Virtus, but now the company aims to make it more widely available by introducing additional variants for customers to select from, thereby democratizing the GT badge.
In addition, Volkswagen has introduced a special collection called GT Edge Limited, which includes the Virtus GT Plus DSG and GT Plus manual models with a Deep Black Pearl exterior body color. The collection also features the Taigun GT Plus DSG and GT Plus manual models in Deep Black Pearl and Carbon Steel Grey Matte finish exterior color options. These exclusive vehicles will be manufactured based on online bookings made by customers, with deliveries scheduled to commence in July.
Gupta added that the GT Edge Limited Collection presents a more sporty and attention-grabbing version of the Taigun and Virtus, combining style and performance in a perfect manner.
