As the global economy gets a kick-start after the COVID-19 pandemic lull, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show(VGGTS) 2022, organised concurrently with the VGGS, is an opportunity that businesses should not miss. It will be an ideal platform to showcase the next generation infrastructure, energy and digital networks, emerging technologies, Start-ups and innovation, electric vehicles and other areas. The Trade Show will display the State’s prowess to fulfil the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of an Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
The five-day Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show, to be inaugurated by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, will commence from 9th January 2022 and will be a precursor to the Summit. The Trade Show will conclude on 13th January 2022.
The VGGTS 2022 promises to be grander and more extensive than ever before, with a multi-sectoral display spread over 2 lakh sq. mts. The Government of Gujarat has laid emphasis on 15 sectors that would drive the next phase of growth for the State. The major attractions will be Electric Vehicles and International and National Pavilions at the Trade Show. There will also be theme pavilions based on the various flagship programs of the Central and the State governments.

The VGGTS, which started as an exhibition earlier, has evolved into a global trade show. It now covers primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors. Futuristic and disruptive technology, including ICT enablement, will be the new attractions at the 2022 Trade Show. Emphasis is also being laid on Climate Change this year with thrust on environment-friendly sectors such as clean energy, green mobility and sustainable agriculture.
These additions will take the Trade Show on a global scale as companies and partner countries are invited and given prominent space at the event. The B2B and B2G buyer-seller meets are must-visit events at the Trade Show.
With significant global participation under one roof, the Trade Show provides broad exposure to the latest global technologies to the youth and young entrepreneurs. Start-ups, MSMEs, students, and women entrepreneurs will be the core beneficiaries of the Trade Show, making it an inclusive forum for all stakeholders.
The Government of Gujarat has deputed an experienced and effective team to organise and manage the Trade Show. Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb), a Government of Gujarat organisation for investment promotion and facilitation, is the nodal agency for the Trade Show.
The State is all set to welcome investors and businesses from India and abroad. Offering a platform to explore and envision a world of investment opportunities in Gujarat, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2022 is sure to propel the next phase of growth for global economies.
