The real estate industry is a vibrant, dynamic, and competitive market with continuous innovations. The market has significantly grown in diversity and innovations that mandate every player to keep up with the industry’s pace. Advancing technology has also fueled competition with realtors looking to outsmart each other in property development. The online real estate market is now a reality, and companies are rushing to establish their presence and dominate the market. That said, real estate players have been forced to adapt to the changing times and trends or risk business face-out.
Eric Gorton, an expert in the real estate field, is among the few realtors commanding a presence in the industry. Eric is an experienced real estate professional and the founder of The Gorton Group. Based in Henderson, Nevada, Eric has established himself as the go-to person for all your residential real estate needs. His expertise and contributions to the industry have earned him recognition in the top 1% of sales performance agents in the Las Vegas Valley.
Throughout his real estate career, Eric has created a sales brand that identifies with the client's needs, life experiences and provides exceptional real estate services. Eric attests to trying his best to go above and beyond for each and every one of his clients. This allows him to have his business 100% customer service driven, with no exceptions.
His experience and industry knowledge also sets him ahead of the other licensed agents in the markets. Eric believes that he has outlived any possible scenario from the bad to the worse, giving him an upper edge in business.
Eric alludes that realtors have different hats that they have to wear every day. Unlike what many people think, being a real estate professional involves more than just opening doors and pushing some papers around. Sometimes it demands having to be there for things that really don't involve real estate for you to be a true service-oriented person. Clients will always have different needs, with each having a unique challenge or issue to solve. Eric says that he has to strike a balance between family and being available for his clients, which calls for real commitment.
"There's rarely a time that I don't answer my phone. If I don't answer it, I get anxious. If I don't return that phone call within a matter of an hour. It plays on my psyche because my kids make fun of me. It's like, oh, that was the big one, it could be an emergency or the biggest deal of my life!" says Eric.
To Eric, it's always his goal to surpass his previous year's income, a target he has always achieved. He credits it as one of the reasons behind his success in the industry, and he has never taken a step back, even in challenging times.
Eric's advice to all aspiring realtors is that you only need to be nice, honest, and use common sense for success to come your way. Money can be a driving factor, but don't let it take charge of your operations.
