They grew up watching their father work. This is what sparked them. Gabe says, “creating such beautiful pieces of jewelry and seeing the looks on the people’s faces when they picked them up was a joy that inspired me."
In a personal interview, Gabe talked about the challenges facing the young company. He reveals, “As a young 18-year-old, I knew I needed to work to gain the respect I deserved. I had to prove myself with suppliers and customers, so I worked harder and smarter than everyone else, and quickly I became a name in the industry." Now in the jewelry business, Happy Jewelers faces a different set of challenges. The brothers spoke about navigating supply chains saying that the biggest hurdle is, “A delay from a supplier. Because we source only the finest gemstones and precious metals, any delay from a supplier could potentially affect delivery to our customer. However, our team does everything in their power to ensure on-time delivery. Very short deadlines are also a challenge. It typically takes us 4-6 weeks to create a custom piece, but we do get a lot of orders where someone needs a custom piece in a week or less. Those can definitely be a challenge, but we get the job done."
