If you were born into poverty and believe you can’t amount to much because of your circumstances, you need to think again. If you are going through a rough time and feel like none of your dreams will ever come true, think harder. If both situations are true, let Lewis Webster’s story remind you that all dreams are valid.

Lewis’s story begins in the roughest neighborhood in the city where he was born. As a child, there was never enough money, and he learned how to hustle when he was very young. At 11 years of age, he was already buying and reselling stuff on eBay, custom painting gaming consoles, and making websites for people to earn extra cash. His desire to own a successful business one day never waned as he grew older.

Adult Lewis was twice as enterprising. When he was 19, he partnered with his best friend and started running a music label. That experience taught him more about the music industry, marketing, events planning, and social media. Soon after, Lewis and his friend signed their first deal with Spotify, and he organized his first live event. During the same period, he also bought his first investment property.

All this while, Lewis was dealing with mental health challenges that kept intruding on his day-to-day activities. Shaking off limiting beliefs was always a problem. He’d try to start a project, and then a voice in his head would call him an imposter and remind him that people from his part of town weren’t supposed to “make it."

Work seemed to be the only cure to his thoughts, so Lewis immersed himself in projects. However, bouts of depression and anxiety always seemed to show up when there was a break in the workflow. It took time to come to terms with his problems, but right now, although he still struggles with them, he can handle them better than he did before.

Five years after he went to work with his friend, Lewis partnered with another media mogul to form his own company. He now owns one of the biggest social media consulting firms in the world and serves clients from every country and language in the world.

Lewis believes no dream is unattainable. He says, “It doesn’t matter where you come from, what your parents did, or what your friends do. You can literally change your life if you want it bad enough." In his family, he is the only one who does not work a regular job and was also the first to go to the university.

Because of his own struggles with mental health, Lewis wants to be at the forefront of mental health challenges in men. In a few years, he wants to be deeply involved with mental health charities. He wants to do his best to help men like himself talk about their problems, worries, and concerns.

Business-wise, he is working on growing and expanding his business to become the number 1 social media consulting firm in the world. He is also expanding his property portfolio and exploring a new networking venture that aims to revolutionize the way B2B transactions work.

The young boy from a rough neighborhood is now a boss with multiple sources of income. If his dreams came true despite all he had to overcome to get there, anyone else can achieve their dreams too.
