“I have hit many lows in life. And when you hit such lows in life, you learn to drill down to the last rupee" says Manish Jalan, self-made entrepreneur and the founder of a million-dollar Meme company. Memes helped him to enter the list of India’s youngest self made millionaires at 25.

Manish comes from a very humble background. From living each day with the anxiety of fulfilling basic needs to finally reaching a stage where he has built a million-dollar company, his journey powerfully challenges the opinions of every young child who portray their poor financial status as an excuse to not go farther in life.

The persistent financial problems at home, hand me downs from cousins, opting Hindi medium education because it was economical, and a family of five people living in a single room apartment with a shared toilet - All these ignited a fire in the 17-year-old Manish to do something for his family and start his journey back in 2014. He loved the idea of earning from the internet and utilized it by working on various Facebook pages for people, creating his pages and experimenting, working with adult dating sites, and finally earning his first self-made income of INR 500. All these gave him imperative confidence to explore further in this sector.

“I realized that I didn’t want a job as that would not solve my financial issues" realized Manish in the first year of his engineering. And then onwards his journey of experiments began. He handled more than 500+ Facebook pages simultaneously, launched his course on 'How to run ads', worked on monetizing different blogs, started his own dropshipping business and learned to establish the e commerce business, launched his private label brand ‘Wrapme Store’, and started the most popular channel 'The Engineer Bro' which has the million reaches amongst the audience today - All these during 4 years of his engineering. By the time he completed his engineering in 2017, he had established his business into meme marketing where he built multiple media channels and worked with leading agencies and brands to memefy their content.

The fire within him had vowed to convert his efforts into a million-dollar company. And he rightly did so at the age of 25 by building a digital marketing agency that offers a complete one-stop solution to brands and social media companies. This young self-made entrepreneur now runs his digital marketing agency named 'MeMedia' which focuses on meme integrated influencer marketing. As you can rightly notice the word ‘MeMe’ in it, MeMedia strongly believes in the power of memes and their impact on youth. It aims to establish a new communication channel across brands, individuals, and agencies through the power of memes. The latest innovation of Manish named 'Mews', a blend of Memes + News, is another initiative to provide crisp, authentic, and attention-grabbing news to people in a way that they do not even realize they have consumed valuable information just by scrolling through memes.

Throughout his journey of learning concepts, executing ideas, and building a million-dollar company, Manish believes the greatest skill one should learn in life is ‘An art of quitting.’ “Had I not quit certain things at some point in my life and moved to another, I might not have built what I have today" Says Manish rightly. Manish’s constant efforts, hustle, and perseverance show that the fire within him has just got ignited further.
