Mr. Burzin Daver, has announced the setting of a new aircraft refurbishment centre in Mumbai. It is a progressive step for the company that caters to the aviation services sector offering comprehensive cleaning, repair, and maintenance services.

The new facility is approved by the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and is to be fitted with the latest tools and equipment to offer optimized services. The state-of-the-art centre is going to influence the domestic airlines' expenditure majorly on maintenance costs. The centre is all set to start operations in the coming few months and heralds a new era for the company and the aviation services industry in India. All airlines in the Indian aviation sector, mostly the General Aviation market, will be the main beneficiary of Livewels (LAT) centre.

The services of the new facility includes cabin part restoration and painting services. All major parts of an aircraft like seats, seat covers, shrouds, fairings, carpets, trays, and tables will be restored, while a brand-new automatic spray painting booth will be used to paint the restored cabin parts to give them a new original look.

Our national carrier Airindia has recently tied up with LAT Aircraft Maintenance ,a long-term agreement to be signed between both companies . The company that works with many leading airlines in the country will now cover the entire fleet of AIRINDIA too. Mr Daver's headed LAT Aircraft Maintenance will now refurbish all widebody aircrafts as well. To add to their service offerings, the cabin upgrade program of AIRINDIA will be executed by a team of technical specialists with engineering background.

The team of professionally proficient experts is expected to work round the clock at the new facility to repair at least 10,000 or more cabin parts each month. The company is going to offer its high-end and specialized services to all domestic airlines in India.

Besides the usual repair and maintenance work, the LAT state-of-the-art facility has been equipped with an innovative cut and edge carpeting service centre responsible for the upkeep of cabin carpets. The decision to add this automated service point was taken after AIRINDIA expressed its intention to keep the interiors of aircraft looking fresh and new by changing the cabin carpets periodically.

The new LAT facility is going to help domestic airlines save on the repair of cabin parts. Earlier, most airliners needed to send their aircraft abroad for repair and maintenance. Now, a hundred percent of the repair work can be done at the new facility of LAT resulting in saving of foreign exchange, this initiative is in line with our honorable Prime Ministers Atmanirbhar Bharat as stated by Burzin Daver .

This facility of LAT is an Approved Maintenance Organization. The facility has received CAR145 approvals besides DGCA approval. The new division will be headed by people from the aviation industry with credible years of experience in the domain. The endeavor is to meet up to world-class standards in the aviation services industry.
