COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the way we live our lives and threw open new challenges all across the world. Though it is a health crisis first, industries across sectors are grappling with its immediate impact, including the education sector. While India was under lockdown last year, e-learning changed the educational landscape and select organisations like Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) continued the learning curve with the help of technologically-equipped fraternity, making a seamless transition to the online mode.

TMU’s undeterred efforts to provide maximum opportunities to its students & faculty

“Pandemic didn’t slow us down," states winner Aleeza Yafseen (First Year MBBS student) of the National Undergraduate Conference ‘Auris’ held at Saveetha Medical College, Chennai in August 2020 amongst other participants from across India. A special thanks to my teachers/mentors at TMU who helped me sail through this journey smoothly" says an ecstatic Aditi. The book is out on all major platforms and is garnering rave reviews.

Not only the students, the teaching and non-teaching staff have contributed equally to TMU’s professional growth. His research was on ‘Waste Collection & Management of Smart City using IoT.’ The innovative waste management system “will use an IoT-based device that will manage, collect, separate, recycle and transport waste found in a body of flowing water."
