Adam Gonzalez is not a new name to the entertainment industry and the digital space. He is a renowned marketing and PR expert who has worked with some of your favorite music artists, assisting them in developing a strong online brand. Gonzalez has worked with Pitbull, Justin Bieber, Ava Max, The Weeknd, and many more. How did he cement his spot as a digital marketer? He shares his story to the top.

Gonzalez started his journey in the digital space some years back. With more people joining the different social platforms, Gonzalez wanted to help business owners leverage this new opportunity and increase their sales. He began developing marketing strategies and sharing tips with entrepreneurs to grow their online followings and increase engagement.

But his journey in the music industry began way before this. According to Gonzalez, he has been in the music industry for years and has opened shows for artists like Trey Songz, Drake, and even YG, among others at the age of 17 years old. He says his experience in the music scene pushed him to focus on digital marketing for music artists and content creators.

Even though he had moved from the music industry and was now a digital marketer, Gonzalez decided to go back. The only difference was that he would be behind the scenes helping other artists break into the space this time.

The music industry is competitive, and to reach the top, you must stand out from the competition. Gonzalez explains that while talent and production are important for success, they cannot function without marketing. A solid social media presence and effective marketing strategies will amplify your hard work and talent and turn you into a star.

Having been in both fields, Gonzalez is leveraging the experience he’s gained to help artists cement their place. He shows new and established talents how to beat the system and make it onto curated playlists.

Since he began his digital marketing journey, Gonzalez has helped over 500 influencers and brands. He has supported multiple artists to hit the Billboard top 10. Gonzalez has also spearheaded viral campaigns and audience development services, working with leading players in the music and entertainment industries. Gonzalez has worked with Warner Music Group, Atlantic Records, Sony Music Entertainment, and Universal Music Group, to name a few.

He says his goal is to make it easier for music artists to break into the music industry by giving them all the necessary tools. Gonzalez has established a digital marketing agency, Black Velvet Advertising, which is focused on the growth of music artists and companies.
