Through its £100m COVID-19 Community Aid Package, Barclays has partnered with charities to provide relief to vulnerable communities, serving more than 10 million meals, distributing over 2 million kilograms of food and hygiene kits and positively impacting the lives of over 500,000 families in India.

To build back better, the key is to ensure that recovery efforts address the socio-economic turmoil that COVID-19 has caused, while focusing on empowerment and well-being.

From equipping students with digital tools to access learning and helping them pursue relevant certifications, to providing personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline health workers, Barclays supported charities to mobilize resources to address the needs of the broader community.
