How easy is it for marketers to win customer affinity in the digital era? Find out in the ninth edition of Brand Studio Live—a series that deals with marketing innovations and more
Research conducted by Harvard Business Review reveals that the most effective way to maximize customer value is to tap into their fundamental motivations or fulfill their unspoken emotional needs.
Indeed, in today’s digital world, where there are thousands of brands jostling for space on the internet, driving only brand loyalty is not enough. Businesses need to go a step further and establish a deeper and a more emotional connection with customers.

As part of the ninth edition of Brand Studio Live, six brand leaders will dissect the theme of ‘Building brand affinity’.
This episode will be the second in the five-part series where Brand Studio Live is webcast from the iconic BSE in Mumbai instead of the HT newsroom.
The hour-long event will be divided into six segments focusing on different sub-topics.
While Subhrangshu Neogi, chief commercial officer of UPES, will outline the 4 Ps of gaining customer affinity, Sagar Boke, head (Marketing) and business head (spices) at Tata Chemicals Ltd, will highlight how marketers can create high affinity in low-involvement categories.
Another interesting discussion will be on building a trustworthy brand in the home healthcare space. Piyush Bhargava, chief marketing officer of Nightingales Home Health Services, will be the speaker for this session.
Amit Sarda, managing director at Soulflower, will shed light on how businesses can engage with customers in the "Tinder age".
Other keynote speakers will include Ajay Row, partner (CRM, Martech and Data) at DAN Network, and Rajiv Bansal, CEO of HT Digital Streams Ltd.
Brand Studio Live gets the brains behind India’s leading brands to collaborate over the future of marketing.
The event is hosted jointly by HT Brand Studio and DMAasia, and is a part of the HT Brand Leadership Series, an annual property hosted under the domain of HT.com that has content around breakthroughs in marketing.
The previous episode provided insights into how brands can win customers’ trust in the digital era, and featured leaders such as Asha Kharga (Axis Bank), Pankaj Gupta (HDFC Life Insurance Co. Ltd), and Shankar Jadhav (BSE Investments Ltd).
The edition previous to that focused on how financial services brands can propel their growth on the internet. Ajay Kakar (Aditya Birla Capital), Shaji Varghese (PNB Housing Finance), and Yashish Dahiya (PolicyBazaar.com Group) were some of the brand custodians who appeared in the show.
