The 9 to 5 job can stress you out to the core, depriving you of spending quality time with your friends and family. When you are working to fulfill someone else’s dream, the job can never give you the kind of fulfillment that you will get from building your brand. With endless opportunities in the digital realm, it is now possible to quit your stressful 9-to-5 for good and create a fulfilling career working online, making a positive impact on people around the world. People like Meg Reily have made it possible, and she believes anyone can do this with her formula for success.

Meg Reily is a 27-year-old content creator and social media coach from Texas who is most popular on TikTok for her comedy skits. Her content is based mainly on her lifestyle to spread positivity while entertaining people. With more than 2 million followers on TikTok and over 200K on Instagram, Meg Reily is happy to help people smile even when they are experiencing the most challenging phase of their lives. Meg's story starts with her 9-to-5 job at a renowned digital marketing company. Like many of us, she too never thought of being a full-time content creator and running a business, which ultimately makes her a strong believer in the saying, “-everything happens for a reason."

During her corporate career, Meg managed marketing campaigns for national brands and agencies. This eventually contributed to her success in growing her personal brand online. It was in 2020 when the pandemic outbreak caused a major shift in the global work culture, Meg was introduced to TikTok by her younger sister. While working from home, she started building her brand on TikTok. After 3 years of working remotely, Meg got her dream job in digital marketing for The Fox Corporation. This is where she took her digital marketing experience to the next level, which in turn had a positive impact on her social media growth.

Balancing her corporate career and her social media brand was not easy, but Meg was driven by her passion. According to her, it was “time-consuming and challenging, but I just knew that I had a great opportunity to use my platform to help inspire others." Her hard work paid off, and eventually, in July 2022, she was able to quit her 9-to-5 to become a full-time content creator on social media. Since then, Meg has accomplished several milestones in her career, including guest appearances on celebrity-hosted shows and podcasts and major brand endorsements.

Meg has been a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Adam Ferrara Podcast with Adam Ferrara, The YO Show with Michael Yo, and The Today Show with Jenna & Hoda. She had the opportunity to work with some of the well-known comedians, acting or creating entertaining content for them and promoting their upcoming specials on social media. One of her viral comedy skits was also featured in an episode of MTV’s Ridiculousness. Meg has landed some high-ticket sponsorship from brands like DoorDash, Bose, Jimmy John’s, Miller Lite, Yelp, and many more.

Apart from her career as a content creator, Meg is also hosting in-person social media courses for local business owners and her previous clients of mine to help them monetize their brands. To help more people quit their 9 to 5 for a fulfilling career with social media, Meg is planning to introduce an online course for aspiring creators. Her goal is to guide people to “start, grow and scale their social media business in this ever-evolving online world" with her proven strategies.
