Is Airtel giving away free subscriptions to streaming services? Let’s dig deeper
Whether it’s your favourite daily TV soap opera or the latest series on Amazon Prime, get access to all the content you need on your TV or smartphone with the Airtel Xstream Box. What’s even better is that it comes free with an Airtel broadband connection!
A party with close buddies to watch the latest season of Mirzapur, re-watching Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai with the family while digging into a bowl of popcorn, catching up on The Boys all by oneself—what is your idea of the ultimate binge-watching session?
Well, the answers are many. While some like to binge-watch their favourites in the company of their friends, others find that sitting with an ice-cold latte and watching TV on their own is an excellent way to de-stress after a long week at work.
“Watching TV or streaming shows with friends has a completely different feel! We can’t go to a pub to watch the IPL, but we have been getting together at a friend’s place and enjoying the matches over pizzas. It’s fun to support our favourite teams and see each other after a hectic day of working from home. Which is to say, binge-watching is never as exciting without my friends," says Gaurav Arora, who is interning with a financial services firm.
For others, snuggling under a cosy blanket while watching something acts as a major stress-buster. “The weekdays are very busy for me, but every Friday night, I dim my room lights and curl up on my favourite couch to watch a series in one go. The plan for this weekend is the much-talked-about The Boys," says Neha Singh, who works with a bank.
Others like to use screen time constructively to bond with their children. “Every time I sit down with my kids in front of the TV, I make sure of two things—first, the quality of the content, and second, the ambience! All of us love to watch movies back to back, and Saturday is when we do that. We prep for it with popcorn and juice, just like we’d do at a theatre," said Samridhi Khullar, a homemaker.
The family has recently watched Benji, Mission Mangal, and Shakuntala, and recommend all of these.
It’s not just millennials or Gen Z-ers who are hooked on binge-watching. Many from the Boomer generation have taken to it as well.
“Yes, even a 70-year-old can binge-watch," laughs Bikram Singh, a retired Army officer. “Dinner time or even later than that is when I watch old movies and Pakistani dramas on Amazon Prime," he adds.
If you, like so many others, are addicted to binge-watching, the all-new Airtel Xstream Box (AXB) is the device to own. A unique product – it is an upgrade on your existing set-top box, allowing you to watch both TV channels and web content in one place. Yes, you heard that right!
AXB is driven by Android OS, which lets you access all apps on Google Play Store. What’s even better is that Airtel has enabled all of this on an all-new Xstream app. This means you don’t have to limit yourself to the TV at home. You can also watch all this content on your smartphone or tablet, while you’re on the go! The app comes with more than 10,000 movies, shows, and web series in 15 languages along with the Live TV option.
And what makes AXB a complete win-win, is that it is easy on the pocket. The box and streaming app subscriptions are available completely free of charge! All you need to do is get Airtel Xstream Fibre connection (broadband), and you will get the AXB loaded with popular streaming platforms as well as the Xtreme app.
So, get your AXB today and immerse yourself in a renewed binge-watching experience!
