Home/ Brand Stories / Post-Covid Clubbing: How Ryan Bishti is Reinvigorating London Nightlife

Many people have found emerging from a world of isolation and lockdowns into the current clubbing environment very overwhelming. Bars and clubs are saturated spaces, crammed with people and filled with noise - it’s fair to say that a lot of the charm has gone. As opposed to the hustle and bustle of busy bars, people have become accustomed to space and freedom. Socialising is more exhausting than ever before and the real world still has an air of uncertainty.

However, Ryan Bishti is taking on the challenge of reinvigorating nightlife in London, restoring the charm. He wants to challenge what people expect from their social life and shake up the narrative. Bars and clubs don’t need to replicate each other, all offering the same experience, instead, Bishti believes that they can be unique, engaging, and immersive. His venues offer something different, innovating the social scene of London and giving his guests the freedom to escape normality.

How does Bishti stand out from the crowd?

Bishti is passionate about immersive clubbing experiences, creating an environment that takes his guests into another world and enables them to forget reality for the night. For example, Cirque le Soir captivates the weirdly wonderful with its circus theme, bringing magic into nightlife. Upon entering Cirque le Soir his guests are greeted by snake tamers, aerial performers, contortionists, circus performers, and burlesque dancers. By manifesting this surreal environment Bishti allows club-goers to leave their inhibitions at the door and let their hair down, forgetting real-world concerns and entering into a fantasy.

Meanwhile, The London Reign Show club plays into seduction and desire. Here, Bishti creates a world of sensuous glamour that differs from your usual expectations of a club. He has hired professional dancers and aerial performers to swing above the dance floor, adding a flair of fantasy. The website describes how The London Reign will take you on a ‘journey of indulgence and escapism, combing theatre and aerial acts to give you a night to cherish’. This creativity is what London needs to reignite the passion for nightlife in a post-covid world.

What’s in store for the future?

Ryan Bishti is not ready to stop there. His company Cream Group has lots of new initiatives up its sleeve to continue revolutionising the nightlife scene. His newest endeavor is a ‘House Party’ concept, reimagining the fun of university party life. This immersive environment removes all expectations of a bar and instead reimagines your best friend’s parent's house (when they’re on holiday) complete with beer pong, garden games, sofas, and, this time, some security.

Bishti aims to rewrite the post-covid narrative, hoping to inject London nightlife with the sparkle it had before the pandemic. His exclusive venues offer something unique and innovative, playing into the fantasies and desires of his guests. He leans into the unexpected and abnormal to create a nightlife experience that values change. Bishti proves that bars and clubs don’t need to offer the same experience, instead, they can challenge the status quo and celebrate creativity.
