With increased awareness, many corporate companies in India have been taking initiatives to create a safe, diverse and inclusive workplace. And acknowledging this progress, Chennai-based KelpHR organised its maiden POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) awards in Mumbai on January 22. The awards were split in four parts – safe workplace, best culture, best organisation for POSH and an exemplary award.
Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions won the best organisation for POSH in the large company category, while AstraZeneca India and 63 Moons Technologies won the same award in medium and small company categories.
The safe workplace award was bestowed to Tata Power Company (large), Siemens Healthineers (medium) and RapidValue Solutions (small). Cigniti Technologies (medium) was awarded for having the best culture, while AntWorks (small) was the runner up for the same award. The exemplary award was picked up by Bengaluru-based ThoughtWorks Technologies India for having overall best practises in creating a diverse, safe and inclusive organisation.
The winners were picked by a 16 member jury comprising HR and other business professionals. “It’s such an honour, to host India’s first ever PoSH awards to recognise and reward the leaders and the heads of organisation who have excelled in this cause of creating safe work culture,” Viji Hari, CEO, KelpHR. The annual event will be held in Bengaluru next year, she added.
