PremiumBENGALURU : San Mateo, California- and Chennai-headquartered Freshworks Inc. has opened its second US office in Denver. The software-as-a-service(SaaS) unicorn aims to hire over 100 sales and solution engineers to support increased sales activity in the region, Freshworks said in a press statement on Thursday.
The move is a part of Freshworks' efforts to expand its global presence. With the opening of the Denver office, Freshworks now has 11 offices across the globe, with over 2,500 employees.
On Wednesday, Freshworks announced the highlights of its performance in the third quarter of 2019. A company spokesperson said Freshworks did not disclose any information on their financial performance.
In the third quarter of 2019, the company said, it signed 52 new partners--distributors, re-sellers and independent software vendors--serving both small and medium businesses and enterprise businesses. The Freshworks Marketplace surpassed 700 apps on the site, the release added.
