Hyundai India revealed the all new Creta. This is the first major update after the launch of the SUV five years back. The new design falls in line with the latest cars launched by Hyundai, including the sub-compact SUV Hyundai Venue. The new Hyundai Creta is based on ix25, which is available in China. The company followed the recent design trends with sleek headlamps cluster and DRLs. Hyundai India claims the new car will be launched by next month.
The Creta 2020 will get the same powertrain options as the Kia Seltos. It comes with boomerang shaped LEDs and new fog lamps. It also maintains the sloping roof from the previous iteration. Creta 2020 will also feature panaromic sunroof. The tail lights have also gotten a fresh design.
The interiors will also get a boost in features. The car will come with an updated infotainment console along with a fully digital instrument cluster for the top variants.
The Creta will come with three variants of BSVI engines. The cheaper petrol variant comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is capable of producing 115PS power and 250Nm torque. The second petrol option is a 1.4-litre Turbo GDI engine which produces 140 PS of power and 242Nm torque. The 1.5-litre VGT diesel variant puts out 115PS of power and 250Nm torque.
