Vistara has announced daily direct flights between Delhi and Dehradun from 29 March 2020. Bookings for the Delhi-Dehradun route have been opened from today with introductory all-inclusive one-way fares starting at ₹2,499. "Fly the new feeling to #Dehradun on India's Best Airline. Enjoy daily direct flights from Delhi, with fares starting at Rs. 2,499 all-in," Vistara said in a tweet.
"With its close proximity to several of India's most-visited tourist destinations, Dehradun is the gateway to the state of Uttarakhand. Over the past decade, the city has seen tremendous upswing in economic growth following the establishment of software technology parks and SEZs," PTI quoted Vinod Kannan, the chief commercial officer of Vistara as saying.
Tickets for Delhi-Dehradun route can be booked on all channels, including www.airvistara.com, Vistara’s iOS and Android mobile apps, and through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and travel agents, Vistara mentioned on its website.
All the passengers, who will be boarding the Delhi to Dehradun flight will be flying in A320ceos, the airline noted on its site. The first daily direct flights between Delhi and Dehradun will take off at 1.50 pm on 29 March 2020 from Delhi airport and reach Dehradun at 2.55 pm. From Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport, the plane will depart at 3.30 pm and reach Delhi at 4.30 pm.
The airline will operate daily flights between Delhi and Kathmandu from 11th February.
The full-service Vistara airline is a joint venture between Tata Sons (51%) and Singapore Airlines (49%). At present, the airline connects 30 destinations — including three international destinations — and operates over 1,200 flights per week.
