Vistara is expanding internationally and it is planning to start flights to destinations such as Tokyo and London.

Vistara airline has launched daily direct flights between Delhi and Indore with effect from 26th October, 2019. The one-way all-inclusive fares start from 3,399. With this, Indore becomes the 30th destination on its network. Bookings for these flights are now being opened progressively on all channels, including www.airvistara.com, Vistara’s iOS and Android mobile apps, and through online travel agencies (OTAs) and travel agents.

According to Vistara, the flight will depart from Delhi airport at 6.55 am daily and arrive at Indore airport at 8.20 am. The return flight will leave Indore at 8.55 am and arrive at Delhi airport at 10.25 am daily.

The full-service Vistara airline is a joint venture between Tata Sons (51%) and Singapore Airlines (49%). At the moment, Club Vistara has about 1.6 million members. The airline connects 30 destinations — including three international destinations — and operates over 1,200 flights per week using 32 aircraft in its fleet. The flight operations to three international destinations — Singapore, Bangkok and Dubai — began last month.

The airline is expanding internationally and is planning to start flights to destinations such as Tokyo and London once it starts inducting wide-body aircraft Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner from February 2020 onward.

    'Club Vistara' programme

Vistara is planning a complete revamp of its frequent-flyer programme "Club Vistara" by increasing the number of partner companies across different segments and moving to a dynamic award-pricing system, a top airline official has said, news agency PTI reported. Under the proposed dynamic system, a seat will always be available for member-passengers in exchange for points and it will also allow members to earn and use points to book seats across all partner companies.

However, Club Vistara currently has just two airline partners — Singapore Airlines and Silk Air, but it has seven other partners across other segments.
