New Delhi: The online world is rarely out of inspiration to let its creative juices flow. This time, it has inspired Zomato, no stranger to quirky and humorous advertising anyway. Zomato today took to micro-blogging platform Twitter to talk about the much discussed iPhone launch. It relied on the 3-camera iPhone 11 Pro to showcase its quick and affordable offerings.

The online food delivery and restaurant discovery platform tweeted a picture of three cups of tea, strategically placed in a manner that mimicked the camera design of the newly launched iPhone 11 Pro.

The ad copy comes with the tagline ‘for less than 199’ while the tweet goes with the caption, ‘Do it like a Pro’. The online ad is a testimony of moment marketing which Zomato has come to ace over the years. The company often takes to social media creating humorous campaigns around pop-culture topics and hot trends which are garnering attention across digital platforms.

The iPhone11 Pro tweet in question has already garnered over 4,070 likes and over 762 retweets.

Apple Inc on Tuesday launched the newest iPhone 11 starting at $699. The company also launched iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, the first devices it has called ‘Pro’, at $999 and $1,099, respectively. The Pro phones boast of a 4-5 hour longer battery life than iPhone XR and feature a telephoto camera as well.

The craze among Apple fans as well as its critics peaked as the new models were unveiled. The hashtags #AppleEvent, #iPhone11Pro, #iPhoneProMax kept trending on the platform.

However, the iPhone 11 Pro started getting netizens attention over social media with multiple memes floating around especially around its camera grid. Users started tweeting about what inspired the three camera lens placement at the back of the iPhone Pro model.

Trolling Apple, users on Twitter started tweeting pictures of Philips shaver, three plug electric socket, coconut shells to even Games of Throne’s three-eyed raven which could have possibly inspired the camera design of iPhone11Pro. These memes are being shared across social media platforms further adding to the craze around the new launches.

While Apple launches are eagerly awaited events in the technology and consumer space, it also ends up inviting immense online attention through memes and trolls especially in India where users go berserk talking about Apple products high pricing and design changes.
