BENGALURU: Stock market research platforms, StockEdge and Elearnmarkets, operated by Kredent InfoEdge Private Limited (KIPL), on Tuesday said that they have registered growth in their consumer base.

The Elearnmarkets platform has crossed 1 million user base across its platform, clocking 2.2 million page views every month. On the other hand, StockEdge has more than 2 million downloads with 30,000 reviews across the Google Play Store.

StockEdge provides research tools for equity markets and mutual funds, primarily based on National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and Bombay Stock Exchange data. It offers day-to-day market analytics with visualizations and alerts and is mainly focussed on the young generation.

Recently, the app also added StockEdge Club, a community of stock market investors focused on providing education and networking opportunities to its members, both online and offline, in eight cities throughout India.

Stockedge has also led to the opening of more than 50 lakh demat accounts.

Elearnmarkets helps individuals learn about financial markets including stock markets, commodities, currency, mutual funds, insurance, financial planning and wealth management.

Elearnmarkets also brings together nearly 200 experts and allows users to learn from their expert of choice.

The platform consists of over 100 career-oriented courses with many joint certifications from financial bodies like NSE Academy, National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) and Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). And available in 6 languages (English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi and Gujarati).

“In recent years, the Indian stock market has seen a significant number of trading platforms. And not to mention, the scenario creates an increasingly competitive market. With eyes on growth, Elearnmarkets and StockEdge are focused on the pain points that user struggle to understand," said Vineet Patawari, co-founder, StockEdge and Elearnmarkets.

“StockEdge consists of a simple and agile interface so that users find fast and smooth accessibility. The platform processes over 1 billion data points from more than 5000 NSE BSE companies," Patawari added.

The company is also in talks to raise fresh investment from financial services firms to grow its solution to a wider customer base.
