
CBSE Class 10th result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 Board Examination 2026 (Session 1) results. Students can access their scores on the official websites - cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in - by logging in with their credentials.
The exams were held from February 17 to March 11, with nearly 25 lakh students appearing this year.
In addition to the official portals, DigiLocker offers a quick and convenient way to check results, enabling students to download their digital marksheets instantly. The result link has been activated, and students will need details such as their roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth, and security pin to access their scores.

CBSE Class 10 result 2026 LIVE: Teenaa Rath, a student from Puri, has secured a perfect 500 out of 500 in the CBSE Class 10 board examination, results of which were declared on Wednesday, news agency PTI reported.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has made results available across several portals to ensure seamless access, particularly during periods of high traffic following the announcement.

Institution-wise, the best performance was achieved by the Kendriya Vidyalayas with a pass percentage of 99.57 per cent. It was followed by the Navodaya Vidyalayas at 99.42 per cent. The private schools achieved a pass percentage of 93.77 per cent while government-aided schools recorded the lowest pass percentage at 91.01 per cent.
The CBSE Class 10 results 2026 were declared at 4 pm on Wednesday, with the southern region recording the highest pass percentage.
As per the region-wise data released by the Board, Trivandrum and Vijayawada topped the list with 99.79 per cent each. They were followed by Chennai at 99.58 per cent, Bengaluru at 98.91 per cent, and Delhi West at 97.45 per cent.
This year, the pass percentage of students in Class X is 93.70 percent, which is better than the pass percentage of 93.66% in the 2025 examination, the CBSE said.
Girls again outshone boys in the CBSE Class 10 board exams, results for which were declared on Wednesday with 93.70 per cent of students passing the test.
There will be no merit list this time, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said as it declared Class 10 results on Wednesday, April 15.
The CBSE stated that, as per the earlier decision of the Board to "avoid unhealthy competition amongst the students, no merit list is declared by the CBSE."

The CBSE has announced the eligibility criteria for students appearing in the Class 10 second board examination 2026, introduced as per the recommendations of the NEP 2020 to help students improve their performance in up to three subjects. The exam is scheduled to be held in May 2026.
According to the Board, the following candidates are eligible to appear:
Students from the 2024–25 session placed in the compartment category (third chance compartment)
Students from the 2024–25 session who were eligible but did not appear in the Board’s main examination 2026 (third chance compartment)
The CBSE has released instructions for principals and heads of schools regarding the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for the Class 10 Second Board Examination 2026.
The schedule for submission and fee payment is as follows:
Examination fee payment (Phase 1): April 16, 2026 (around noon) to April 20, 2026
LOC submission and fee payment (Phase 2): April 16 to April 20, 2026
LOC submission and fee payment (Phase 3 with late fee): April 21 to April 22, 2026
