CBSE 10th Result 2020 LIVE updates: The board results were announced through an alternative assessment scheme after it cancelled remaining exams in wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

CBSE Class 10th Results have been declared today at 12.37 PM. The announcement regarding 10th CBSE results was shared by HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Wednesday, who took to Twitter to share the update and wish luck to the students.

The board results were announced through an alternative assessment scheme after it cancelled remaining exams in wake of COVID-19 pandemic. The board had on Monday announced the results for class 12.

CBSE 10th Result 2020: Latest Updates

  • A total of 184358 students have scored above 90% in CBSE class 10th exam 2020.
  • CBSE 10th Result: Slight improvement in performance

The passing percentage saw a slight improved as compared to 2019. This year CBSE recorded 91.46 passing percentage, which is an improvement by 0.36 per cent.

If you are not able to check the results, students can access their results by downloading the UMANG and Digi locker app. Both are android based application and are available on the PlayStore.

How to check results via these apps. Visit Google PlayStore or Apple store app through your mobile. Login using your registered mobile number, OTP and enter the last 6 digit of your roll number. Account credentials will be sent via SMS.

  • Access your result through DigiLocker mobile app

Students can access their digital CBSE 10th result, mark sheet, passing and migration certificates, skill certificates through DigiLocker mobile app. Login credential for the same has already been sent to the registered mobile number of students.

Students can also get their result through SMS service. Type 'CBSE10 space roll number space admit card ID' and send it to 7738299899

  • Email and phone

The CBSE Board will inform students about their individual results through SMS and emails available with the Board.

  • CBSE alternative assessment scheme

1. If a student appeared for more than three subjects before the examinations were cancelled, an average score will be calculated taking into account the three subjects in which the student scored highest.

2. For those students who appeared in lesser examinations, the average will be based on the two highest-scoring subjects and allotted to the remaining papers.

3. For those who appeared in less than three exams, results will be calculated based on the marks in the appeared subjects along with their performance in internal/ practical/ project assessment.
