The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the result of class 12 students on Friday. This year, girls outshined boys by 6.01 per cent with 90.68 per cent of pass percentage. The overall passing percentage for class 12 students of 2023 stood at 87.33 per cent. 

Notably, there has been a significant drop in the national pass percentage this year. As per officials, national pass percentage fell by around 6 per cent this year from 92.71 per cent last year. 

Trivandrum topped the list of best performing region. Its pass percentage stood at 99.91 per cent. The CBSE class 12 board exams were held in February, March and April. Around 16,96,770 students appeared for the exams. Unlike every year, CBSE will not announce the name of its topper to eliminate the unhealthy competition. Instead the board will issue merit certificates only to the 0.1 per cent of students, who have scored the highest marks in different subjects.

Other than the official website, students can check their result from DigiLocker. To do so, they would need a six digit PIN to access DigiLocker and use it to check and download result. These pins will be alloted to the school students from their respective schools. Schools can download the list of DigiPin of their students using their LOC credentials from digilocker.gov.in.

The mark sheets and passing certificats of the students will be uploaded on the DigiLocker for the applicants who appeared for the exams.

To download their results, marksheets and passing certificates, students need to activate their CBSE Result DigiLocker account, by using the pin.

Other than DigiLocker, student can visit official websites like: results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in or digilocker.gov.in, to check their marks.They would recquire to enter their roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth, to check and download their result.
