Delhi University (DU) has extended the last date for registrations for PG, MPhil and PhD course in compliance with the Delhi high court directives. The last day for registration for these courses has been extended to 22 June, PTI reported.
The Delhi High Court had directed the varsity to extend the last date for registration to June 22 for undergraduate courses and to follow last year's eligibility criteria for admission.
Delhi University’s registration portal will remain open for all UG, PG, M.Phil. and PhD courses till June 22.
The last date has been extended for all courses, an official said.
Meanwhile, DU is likely to release its first cut-off list by the end of this month. The Delhi University's online registration process had commenced on 30 May and was supposed to end on 14 June at 11.59 pm. The first cut-off was to be released on 22 June but now as the last day of registration for courses has been extended, it will most likely come out by 29 or 30 June.
Over 3.40 lakh students had registered on the varsity portal till 11.44 pm on Friday and 2,38,962 had made payments.
The High Court directed Delhi University and the University Grants Commission (UGC) to allow students to apply for admission to undergraduate (UG) courses at the varsity for the current academic session based on the eligibility criteria of 2018-19.
