TN 12th Result 2025 Highlights: The Tamil Nadu Class 12 results were announced on May 8 by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, as per the scheduled date mentioned on the official notice. School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi declared TN HSE Class 12 results.
The TN HSE press conference took place at the Anna Centenary Library in Chennai. Students, who appeared for these exams, can access their results through official portals - results.digilocker.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.

School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi declared TN HSE Class 12 results.
Girls have outperformed boys by obtaining a 96.7% pass percentage, while boys have secured a 93.16% pass percentage in the Tamil Nadu HSC exam 2025.
A total of 2,638 schools recorded a perfect 100% pass rate among 7,513 schools that participated in the Tamil Nadu HSE +2 board exams this year.

Students who appeared for Tamil Nadu Class 12th exam need the following things to access results now.
The Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exam results will be released today. Over 8 lakh students eagerly waiting for the HSE +2 exams digital scorecard. The result link ‘tnresults.nic.in’ will activate at 9:15 am.
Students need to secure at least 35 marks out of 100 in each theory subject to pass the Tamil Nadu Class 12th exams. Students who fail to obtain the minimum score will have to appear in the supplementary exams conducted by the board later.

Last year, Kanyakumari emerged as the top performing district in the Tamil Nadu Class 12th result with an overall percentage of 95.72%.

Step 3: Register by entering details such as name, email ID, Aadhaar card number, and mobile number and submit.
Step 4: Enter the security PIN received on registered mobile number.
Step 5: Now login using registered credentials.
Step 6: Click on Tamil Nadu Class 12 results link under the ‘education’ section.
Step 7: Enter Aadhaar card number and click on submit. TN HSE Result 2025 will appear on the screen.
Last year, an overall pass percentage of 94.56% was recorded in the TN HSE+2 exams and as per past trends it is expected to hover around the same figure. Girls recorded a pass rate of 96.4% - outperforming boys, while boys secured a pass percentage of 92.4%.
The wait is almost over for Class 12 students across Tamil Nadu. The TN 12th Result 2025 is expected to release soon on the official website tnresults.nic.in.
Students who fail to qualify Tamil Nadu Class 12th exam in the first attempt will be offered a second and last chance to appear for the exams.
