
UP Board 12th Result 2026 Highlights: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the Class 10 and 12 board examination results today. The UP Board examinations were conducted from 18 February to 12 March 2026 across 8,033 examination centres in the state. To qualify in the UPMSP examinations, students need to score at least 33% marks in each subject.
The evaluation process for the answer sheets commenced on 18 March and was initially expected to wrap up by 1 April. However, several festivals were observed in this period due to which the process of assessment of answer scripts got delayed and the deadline was extended till 4 April.

Students who appeared in the UP Board High School and Intermediate level examinations this year will be able to check their scorecard at upmsp.edu.in and results.digilocker.gov.in at 4:00 pm.

68 inmates appeared for the high school (10th) exams, among which 67 passed the same.
135 prisoners appeared for the Intermediate (12th) exams, among which 114 passed.
66.67% of candidates who appeared in the UP 10th board results have passed.
The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education on Thursday announced that 90.42 per cent of candidates cleared the Class 10 board examination, while 80.38 per cent passed the Class 12 boards.
The UP Board has not yet announced the date for the compartment exams. Last year, these exams were conducted on 26 July and results for the same were declared on 6 August.

Kashish Verma and Anshika Verma are joint toppers of the class 10 board exams in UP. Both have secured 97.83%.
They are followed by Aditi (97.50%); Arpita (97.33%); Rishabh Sahu (97.33%), and Pari Verma (97.33%).
Shikha Verma has secured the top position in the UP Board class 12 exams. Her acquired percentage is 97.60%.
She is followed by Nandini Gupta (97.20%); Surbhi Yadav (97%); Shriya Verma (97.20%); and Puja Pal (97%).

"The examinations of the year 2026 were conducted over 15 working days at 8,033 centers. The evaluation was fully completed within the stipulated time at 254 centers. The pass percentage for high school was 90.42 and for intermediate was 80.38 percent," Dr. Mahendra Dev, Director, Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh said in a press conference.
In order to check your UP Board exam results, as soon as you open the UMANG app, a pop-up dialogue box will appear asking you whether you want to check either class X or XII results. Click on the one applicable. Provide your roll number and mother's name as mentioned in Admit Card; Click on terms of use, and click Submit. The results will be displayed on your screen.
At least 33% marks should be obtained by a student in order to pass in a subject. The overall percentage to pass the exams is also 33%.

Students facing internet issues can check their results with just an SMS. For this, type this message from your phone: "UP12 [space]" [your roll number] and send to 56263. Your results will immediately be sent to your phone via SMS.

The entire process of conduction of exams to evaluation happened smoothly this time around because the UP govt deployed 1,53,000 employees for the project, and among them were 83,800 examiners. The exams ended on March 12th and results are set to be out today. Last year, UP board exam results were declared on 25 April.
