The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) have concluded the Class 10 (Madhyamik) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary) examinations for 2025. The Madhyamik exams were held from February 10 to February 22, 2025, while the Higher Secondary exams took place between March 3 and March 18, 2025. Results for 12th are set to be announced today in 7th May 2025 at 12:30PM. To pass the Madhyamik examination, students must secure at least 34% overall, equating to a minimum of 272 out of 800 marks. For the Higher Secondary examination, a minimum of 30% in each subject, including both theory and practical components, is required to pass. In 2025, approximately 9.84 lakh students registered for the West Bengal Madhyamik (Class 10) examinations. In the Higher Secondary examinations, (Class 12) around 5.09 lakh candidates appeared in exams.
