During the election campaigning in MP, BJP did not reveal the name of the CM candidate but considering the electrifying victory of the party, Chouhan may retain his seat. In Chhattisgarh, Former CM Raman Singh is the front-runner to become the CM again. Here, the BJP won 54 seats in the 90-member assembly.

Telangana Chief Minister-elect Anumula Revanth Reddy would take oath as the new CM of the state on Thursday following the party's victory in the recent Assembly elections.
The swearing-in ceremony of the 56-year-old leader would be held at the sprawling LB Stadium here at 1.04 PM on Thursday.
State Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari, DGP Ravi Gupta held a meeting with senior officials on the arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony and also visited the venue on Wednesday. About one lakh people are expected to attend the event.
Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) chairperson Sonia Gandhi and party leader Rahul Gandhi are likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA, Diya Kumari, on Wednesday met with party's national president JP Nadda here in the national capital.
Taking to 'X', Kumari wrote, "Today, I met the National President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Honorable Shri @JPNaddaji in New Delhi and conveyed my best wishes for the massive victory of BJP in the assembly elections of various states".
Kumari won from the Vidyadhar Nagar constituency against Congress' Sitaram Agarwal with a margin of 71368 votes.

Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday said he has accepted the resignation of BJP MP Kirodi Lal Meena from the House with immediate effect.
"I have received a letter, dated December 6, personally submitted to me by Kirodi Lal Meena, representing the state of Rajasthan, resigning his seat in Rajya Sabha. I have accepted his resignation with immediate effect," Dhankhar said in the Upper House.
Meena has won the recent assembly elections from Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan.
According to the ADR reports, 205 newly elected MLAs in the state which is nearly 89% are 'crorepati'. Of these crorepati MLAs, 144 belong to the BJP and 61 belong to the Congress party.
BJP MLA from Ratlam city constituency in Ratlam district, Chetanya Kasyap is the richest MLA in the state whose total wealth is over ₹296 crores. Similarly, a BJP MLA from Vijayraghavgarh assembly seat in Katni district, Sanjay Satyendra Pathak is the second richest MLA having wealth of over ₹242 crores followed by Congress MLA Kamal Nath who has a total wealth of over ₹134 crores, the report said.
In the recently held assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) released its report in which it was revealed that 90 newly elected MLAs out of 230 in the state, which is nearly 39%, have criminal cases against them.
Of these 90 MLAs having criminal cases, 51 belong to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 38 belong to the Congress Party and one from the Bharatiya Adivasi Party.
In the recently held Chhattisgarh polls, five of Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) 53 candidates have managed to secure more than 5,000 votes.
The AAP’s state unit chief Komal Hupendi secured 15,255 votes and stood in 3rd position, facing defeat for the second consecutive term from Bhanupratappur seat.
The other four candidates who got more than 5,000 votes are Santram Salam (Antagarh), Baloo Ram Bhawani (Dantewada), Khadgraj Singh (Kawardha) and Jasveer Singh (Bilha).
AAP candidates in Chitrakot, Jagdalpur, Bastar, Keshkal, Saja, Arang, Ramanujganj, Lundra and Kunkuri polled fewer votes than NOTA.
Amid speculations that Mamata Banerjee is likely to skip the INDIA bloc meeting due to scheduling issues, the West Bengal Chief Minister clarified, saying that the opposition leaders will be meeting shortly whenever the Congress comes up with a favourable date.
"I was not informed earlier. Only a day before yesterday, Rahul called me up and told me about the meeting...We will be meeting shortly whenever they decide," Mamata said.
