The National Capital Region should have a government which serves the cause of the people. I strongly believe that the roadmap which the PM has set for the country should certainly take Delhi to the top priority and serve its people from every point of view...''
Meanwhile Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, "BJP's victory is due to the model of governance of development given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the country, through good governance India is moving ahead at a fast pace to become a developed country...The country and the world are seeing that the entire country is standing with Modi Ji, with his welfare works..."
As the BJP is set to form government in Delhi, Parvesh Verma, a BJP candidate from the New Delhi assembly constituency, shows a victory sign.
"The situation in Delhi--contaminated water, broken roads, poor sanitation, pollution in Yamuna, and much more--is a reflection of Kejriwal's model of governance, which the people of Delhi have rejected," Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva told ANI.
"On the other hand, Modi ji's model of good governance is one that the entire nation respects. People have chosen good governance," he added.
"Their prominent leaders will lose the elections because they have betrayed the public. Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Atishi--these are all faces of corruption. The people will not forgive them," Virendra Sachdeva said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the party workers at 7:30 pm at the BJP headquarters today.
