Civil services coaching teacher and motivational speaker Avadh Ojha, the AAP candidate, conceded defeat in Delhi Elections from Patparganj Assembly seat. BJP's Ravinder Singh Negi is leading by a huge margin in the constituency.
Ojha, who contested as AAP candidate from former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's previous seat, Patparganj, is trailing by over 23,000 votes. Ojha has so far got 40,00 votes.
Ravinder Singh Negi is ahead with 63,000 votes, and Congress candidate Anil Kumar is a distant third with 13,000 votes.
"It's my personal defeat. I couldn't connect to people... I'll meet the people and will contest the next election from here," said Avadh Ojha, conceeding defeat.
Ravinder Negi garnered attention during an election rally in January when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen touching his feet.
Earlier in the day, Negi was seen shaking hand with Avadh Ojha at CWG Sports Complex counting centre.

Reacting to results, Ravinder Singh Negi said, “This is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's victory as his blessings were with all the candidates. This victory is because of the way the PM explained to the people of Delhi why it was important to remove 'aapda'. I thank the party leadership.”
