Delhi Election 2025 News LIVE: A voter turnout of 60.42 per cent was recorded on Wednesday after polling to elect the 70-member assembly of Delhi concluded. The highest voter turnout was recorded in the North-East Delhi (66.25 per cent), and the lowest in the South East (56.16 per cent).

Central district recorded 59. 09 per cent voter turnout, New Delhi district registered 57.13 per cent, East district registered 62. 37 per cent, North district registered 59.55 per cent, North West district registered 60.07 per cent, Shahdara district registered 63. 94 per cent, South district registered 58.16 per cent, South-West district registered 61. 07 per cent and West district registered 60. 76 per cent, the Election Commision said. The votes will be counted on February 8.

The Congress, which ruled Delhi for 15 years, is contesting to reclaim its lost control over Delhi assembly.

Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025

Most exit polls released on Wednesday predicted an edge for the BJP over the ruling AAP. Delhi is most likely to see a change of government with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coming to power, predicted three exit polls on Thursday.

What happened in the last Delhi elections?

The last two elections, in 2020 and 2015, were won by the AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal. The Congress was in power for 15 years before AAP's victory. The last BJP chief minister of Delhi was in 1998. Tap here for details
