Karnataka Election 2023 result: Indian National Congress candidate Kothur G Manjunatha has won the from the Kolar constituency in Karnataka. He defeated Janata Dal (Secular)'s CMR Srinath by a margin of 30761 votes.
According to the details, received from Election Commission website, Kothur G Manjunatha got 83990 votes, including 834 postal votes, while Srinath got 53229 votes including 864 postal votes.

In the third spot, Bharatiya Janata Party's R Varthuru Prakash received 50278 votes, including 636 postal votes.
In brief, Kothur G Manjunatha got 43.56 percent of the total votes, while CMR Srinath managed to get 27.61 percent votes. R Varthuru Prakash received 26.41 percent votes.
According to ECI website, Indian National Congress emerged victorious in 135 seats and leading in one more seat. While BJP won 65 seats. JD(S) won only 19 seats.
Apart from this, Congress registered 42.88 percent in the polls, BJP claimed 36 percent, while JD(S) could manage to win only 13.29 percent votes.
