The BJP candidate won by a margin of 37816 votes, garnering total 70365 votes.
The AAP candidate Pardeep Mittal managed to get 32549 votes, while Sumesh Gupta of Congress got only 3765 votes.
Polling for the 70 Delhi Assembly seats was held on February 5.

Vijender Gupta, the Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly and BJP candidate, AAP candidate Pradeep Mittal, and Sumesh Gupta of Congress are fighting election from the North West district of Rohini. BJP’s Vijender Gupta has consecutively won the seat in 2015 and 2020 assembly polls.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi who retained her Kalkaji assembly seat by a margin of 3,580 votes in the Assembly polls by defeating BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri on Saturday conceded the defeat of her Aam Aadmi Party and thanked voters for reposing faith in her while vowing to continue the fight against BJP.
“I thank the people of Kalkaji for showing trust in me. I congratulate my team who worked against 'baahubal'," Atishi told reporters.
“We accept the people's mandate. I have won but it's not a time to celebrate but continue the 'war' against the BJP," the 43-year-old said.
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi congratulated the Bharatiya Janata Party, which is poised to form the government in the national capital after 27 years and also reflected on her party's dismal performance, emphasising the need to work harder
In a message to party workers, she said they need to stay connected with the people, and address their concerns more effectively.
"It was very obvious from all the meetings that people wanted change. They voted for change. My congratulations to those who won. For the rest of us it just means that we have to work harder, stay on the ground and be responsive to the peoples' issues," said Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
As the Bharatiya Janata Party is poised to form the government in Delhi after 27 years, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday that the "rule of lies" has ended in Delhi and this is the beginning of a new era of development and trust in Delhi.
In a post on X, Shah said, "Delhi ke Dil mein Modi (Modi in the heart of Delhi)".
"The people of Delhi have worked to make Delhi Aapda-free by destroying the 'Sheeshmahal' of lies, deceit and corruption. Delhi has taught such a lesson to those who break promises that it will set an example for those who make false promises to the public across the country. This is the beginning of a new era of development and trust in Delhi," he added.
Voters in Delhi preferred the 'none of the above' option over two national parties, BSP and CPI(M), emerging election results data shows.
As votes for the Delhi assembly polls were counted on Saturday, latest data of the Election Commission showed that NOTA option got 0.57 per cent vote share as compared to 0.55 pet cent of the Bahujan Samaj Party and 0.01 per cent of Communist Party of India (Marxist).
Both BSP and CPI(M) are recognised nation parties.
Trends of the counting of votes in Delhi assembly polls on Saturday morning projected Congress candidate Alka Lamba who contested from the Kalkaji constituency as trailing with a huge margin of votes.
Speaking to reporters Lamba who was pitted against BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri and AAP's Atishi in the constituency said that people will not forgive the culprits of Delhi, adding that those who damaged Delhi are going to lose.
"Delhi will not forgive the culprits of Delhi... I don't know who is at advantageous position and who is facing the loss; those who damaged Delhi it is their loss," the Congress leader said.
BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri on Saturday exuded confidence as early trends show his party surging ahead of AAP in 42 out of 70 assembly constituencies in Delhi. Bidhuri, who's contesting from the Kalkaji Assembly constituency, attributed this lead to the people's desire for development, which he claims has been lacking under AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal's leadership over the past decade.
Bidhuri is not just focused on winning, but also on serving the public. He emphasised that he was not in the game for personal gain or to become the chief minister, but rather to genuinely serve the people.

Counting of votes for Delhi's 70 assembly constituencies began amid tight security at 19 locations across the national capital on Saturday.
Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer Alice Vaz said 5,000 personnel, including counting supervisors and assistants, micro-observers, and support staff trained for the process, had been deployed for the exercise.
A win for the BJP will not only return the saffron party to power in the national capital after more than 26 years but also break AAP and Kejriwal's grip on Delhi.
The Congress, which governed Delhi from 1998 to 2013, is looking to stage a comeback after failing to win a single seat in the previous two elections.

On security at counting centres, Joint CP, Southern Range, Sanjay Kumar Jain said, “At every counting centre, there are two companies of CAPFs. DSP, ADSP and inspectors are also deployed here. A four-tier security cordon has been maintained here. For an aerial view, we are using drones. During the victory procession by the candidates, police deployment will be done."
AAP has dominated the last two assembly elections in Delhi, but the BJP is looking to break the trend and reclaim power after more than two decades.
