The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has taken the lead in early trends suggested by TV channels as counting began for the 243 Assembly seats of Bihar.

As results continue to come in, the NDA was leading with 190 seats against the MGB's 58 seats, according to NDTV at 11:30 am. The majority mark in the Bihar assembly is 122, which means the ruling alliance has crossed the majority mark, as per early trends on TV.

The Bihar Legislative Assembly elections for 243 seats were held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results will be announced on 14 November, Friday.

In the Bihar Legislative Assembly, the 243 constituencies are divided into three broad categories based on who can contest from them -- 165 General Seats, 38 SC seats and 2 ST seats
After the SIR process, the draft electoral roll released on 1 August 2025 lists about 7.64 crore electors. The final number of voters will be released by the end of September.
