Bihar Exit Poll Results 2025: The second and final phase of polling is in full swing on Tuesday, 11 November, in Bihar as the fate of the state is being recorded in ballot boxes. Polling is being held in 122 constituencies spread across 20 districts in the final phase, and today's voting will mark the culmination of the high-stakes Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. As the voting deadline nears, excitement is building up for the highly anticipated exit polls.
As the political atmosphere is intensifying in Bihar, all eyes are on the Mahagathbandhan and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Exit polls, often regarded as the first major indicator of public sentiment, will be released soon after the voting concludes. To avoid any last-minute influence of exit poll analysis on the poll outcome, the Election Commission of India (ECI) mandated that these must be published only after the voting ends.
The second phase of polling in Bihar, which began at 7:00 AM, is scheduled to conclude at 5:00 PM. Key battleground seats include West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj, Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, Bhagalpur and Purnia.
Once polling wraps up today, the Bihar exit poll results are expected to be released after 6:30 PM. The pollsters are in the last stages of finalising the data, as it will be published in a few hours from now. Notably, the election conducting authority barred the publication of exit poll data from 7:00 AM on 6 November 2025 to 6:30 PM on 11 November 2025.
Although exit polls are not always fully accurate, they often indicate broad trends. From shifts in voter sentiment to regional patterns, a glimpse of the poll outcome can be gained through sample analysis. Exit polls are remarkably different from opinion polls. While the former refers to post-voting surveys after voters leave polling stations, the latter assesses intention before voting.
Major polling agencies that conduct exit polls and will be releasing their projections include:
Exit poll results will be available on the Bihar Election 2025 Phase 2 Polling Live blog, on several Television news channels, official websites of polling agencies, social media platforms and YouTube live streams.
As per the schedule released by the ECI, vote counting will take place on 14 November and the final results are expected on the same day, though it depends on the counting pace and turnout numbers.
The fate of 1,302 candidates is being recorded today. In the first phase of voting, which took place on 6 November, a voter turnout of 65% was recorded. A total of 37 million voters are eligible to cast their votes today, including 17.4 million women. Voting is being conducted at 45,399 polling stations.
