Jammu Election Results Live: Independent candidate Satish Sharma has won the  Chhamb seat with 33,985 votes. Sharma has defeated BJP's Rajeev Sharma. Chhamb is an important constituency as the former deputy chief minister, and Congress leader Tara Chand and BJP's Rajeev Sharma were key contenders.

Jammu Election Results Live: BJP's Yudhvir Sethi wins Jammu East constituency. He has secured 42,589 votes. Sethi has defeated Yogesh Sawhney from Congress.

Jammu Election Results Live: Rajeev Kumar from BJP has won the Bishnah constituency. Kumar has secured 53,435 votes, defeating Congress candidate Neeraj Kundan.

Jammu Election Results Live: BJP candidate Mohan Lal has won the Akhnoor seat. He has won with 49,927 votes, defeating Ashok Kumar from Congress.

Jammu Election Results Live: BJP candidate Surinder Kumar has won the Marh constituency. He has won with 42,563 votes, defeating Congress candidate Mula Ram.

Jammu Election Results Live: BJP candidate Devender Singh Rana has won the Nagrota constituency. He has won with 48,113 votes, defeating JKNC Joginder Singh. Rana is the brother of Union Minister Jitendra Singh.

Jammu Election Results Live: According to the Election Commission numbers, Vikram Randhawa,  BJP candidate, has won the Bahu constituency with 40,385 votes, defeating Congress candidate Taranjit Singh Tony.

Jammu Election Results Live: According to the Election Commission, Narinder Singh Raina, a BJP candidate, has won the fiercely contested R S Pura—Jammu South seat with 43,317 votes, defeating Congress candidate Raman Bhalla, a two-time MLA.

Jammu Election Results Live: Omar Abdullah will become the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, according to Farooq Abdullah

“People have given their mandate, they have proven that they don't accept the decision that was taken on August 5...Omar Abdullah will be the chief minister,” ANI quoted Farooq Abdullah.

Jammu Election Results Live: "Everyone should respect the people's verdict. In Jammu and Kashmir, experts and psephologists predicted a hung assembly, but it's a clear majority (for Congress-NC alliance). In Haryana, a (Congress) majority was predicted, but the results are different. Let's wait for the final results," PTI reported quoting  BJD leader Debi Prasad Mishra.

Sham Lal Sharma, BJP candidate has won from Jammu North constituency with 42,219 votes, according to Election Commission. Sharma has defeated JKNC candidate Ajay Kumar Sadhotra.

Jammu Election Results Live: Arvind Gupta, BJP candidate has won from Jammu West constituency by 22, 127 votes, according to Election Commission data. Gupta has won against Congress candidate Manmohan Singh.

Jammu Election Results Live:  “ BJP is not far behind...we had told that we will win 35 seats and we are reaching nearby. towards the last round, we will achieve our target...We can only say something once the result comes...but it has to be accepted that currently they (NC-Congress) are leading and if they win, they will form the govt,” reported ANI quoting Kavinder Gupta.
