Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 11: Emraan Hashmi film eyes ₹200 cr milestone worldwide, earns this much

Awarapan 2 continued its successful theatrical run on Day 11, with the Emraan Hashmi-starrer edging closer to the ₹200 crore mark at the worldwide box office.

According to the latest live estimates, the film had collected ₹1.27 crore net in India by the second Monday. Its total India net collection now stands at ₹137.52 crore, while the India gross has reached ₹164 crore. Final collections for the day are yet to be reported.

The film witnessed a significant drop in business after its second weekend. On Day 10, which fell on its second Sunday, Awarapan 2 collected ₹8.75 crore net from 13,632 shows, with an overall occupancy of 21%. By Day 11, it was playing across 9,952 shows, with occupancy at 10%.

However, the film’s overall worldwide performance remains strong. It earned ₹1.50 crore from overseas markets on Day 10, taking its overseas gross collection to ₹30.30 crore. With a worldwide total of ₹192.80 crore so far, the film is now less than ₹8 crore away from entering the ₹200 crore club.

About the film

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Awarapan 2 is a sequel to the 2007 film Awarapan and sees Hashmi return as Shivam. The film also stars Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi, with the story following Shivam as he is drawn back into the criminal underworld while confronting questions of redemption, love and sacrifice.

The sequel has benefited from strong interest in the return of one of Hashmi’s best-known characters, and its performance has also marked a major commercial success for the actor.

As the film enters the weekdays of its second week, attention will now be on whether it can cross the ₹200 crore worldwide milestone before competition intensifies at the box office.
