Bigg Boss 19 highlights:Kunickaa Sadanand told Indian Express, "I am a very bad politician, which is why I had to leave politics. I don’t know how well I can use my political wisdom. I left politics because I was not meant to be a politician. I don’t care about others’ opinions, and that has been the case for all these years, but I will try to balance things between people. However, there has to be a democracy in the house."

Bigg Boss 19 highlights: During Bigg Boss 19 grand premiere, Tanya Mittal asked Salman, “Sir, sacha pyaar humesha adhura rehta hai kya? (Sir, does true love always remain incomplete?).” To which, Salman opened up about his love life.

He replied, “Sacha pyaar, I don't know...kyunki abhi tak hua hi nahi. Na sacha pyar hua hai, na kuch adhura raha hai (True love? I don't know… because it hasn’t happened to me yet. There hasn’t been true love, nor anything that remains incomplete)."

Ali told Hindustan Times, “Earlier, it was just a few phone calls here and there, nothing solid. But the last two years, 2023 and 2024, I was in Kundali Bhagya, and sadly, I had to reject Bigg Boss because I was not in a position to sign up for the show or I would have done it even then. This is the first time I auditioned and the first time I cracked it.”

Bigg Boss 19 has officially begun with 16 contestants. This season’s line-up features actors, influencers, and entrepreneurs, setting the stage for drama and entertainment. The list of participants are Ashnoor Kaur, Amaal Mallik, Pranit More, Kunickaa, Tanya Mittal, Zeishan Quadri, Awez Darbar, Nehal Chudasama, Nagma Mirajkar, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Gaurav Khanna, Natalia Janoszek, Mridul Tiwari, and others. 

Tanya Mittal is a Gwalior-born influencer, who went viral during the Maha Kumbh. In the video, she was narrating her experience at a tragic stampede on Mauni Amavasya. Apart from that, Tanya runs her own brand, Handmade with Love by Tanya, which offers handbags, handcuffs and saris.

Amaal was the 16th contestant to enter the house, following which, we saw him interacting with Ashnoor Kaur. He also spoke to Kunickaa and discussed the vital role she played in Amaal's childhood.

Music composer and singer Amaal Mallik was welcomed warmly by host Salman Khan. Amaal is the brother of Armaan Mallik. In March, Amaal made headlines as he revealed his battle with clinical depression. He also opened up about the emotional strain caused by his family dynamics.  

Kunickaa Sadanand, popularly known simply as Kunickaa, is an Indian actress, lawyer, producer, and social activist. She is best recognised for portraying negative and comic roles in numerous Indian films. She received a warm welcome from Salman, who is also her friend.

Bigg Boss 19 LIVE: The premiere of Bigg Boss 19 has kicked off with Salman Khan exploring the new house.

Colors TV dropped a new post featuring a human eye and a snake emoji. This comes amid rumours that the first look of Naagin 7 will be shown tonight in the premiere episode of Bigg Boss 19.

Bigg Boss 15 fame Rajiv Adatia confirmed Anupamaa actor Gaurav Khanna’s participation in the latest season. Ahead of the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 19, Rajiv sent his best wishes to Gaurav, and penned a lovely message for his friend.

“Wishing my dearest Gaurav all the very best for his Bigg Boss 19 journey. The house is a crazy one but will give you memories to last a lifetime. Come back with the trophy. Love you, brother (and do some cooking in the house also)," Rajiv wrote in an Instagram story.

Gaurav Khanna is a TV actor known for CID and Anupamaa. He previously worked in marketing. He recently won Celebrity MasterChef India.

Conceptualised by Art Director Omung Kumar with production designer Vanita Garud, the Bigg house is more than just a backdrop; it sets the stage for drama, conflict, and alliances, all under the ever-watchful eye of Bigg Boss.

Seems like singer-composer Amaal Mallik is one of the participants of reality TV show 'Bigg Boss 19'.

On Saturday, the makers unveiled a new promo, hinting at Amaal's participation in the show.

The comment of Amaal Mallik's father Daboo Malik also inadverently confirmed the particiaption of the music composer. He dropped a raising hands emoji in the comment section.

"Amaal Mallik in Big Boss?? Don't know what to expect but I know he is going to rock there," a social media user commented.

As the new season of long-running reality series Bigg Boss gears up for its premiere, art director Omung Kumar says his philosophy for designing the famed house was to reinvent it into a space that looks fresh, unique and visually striking.

The 19th edition of "Bigg Boss", hosted by superstar Salman Khan, will get underway on Sunday night.

It is reported that Salman Khan is not expected to continue hosting Bigg Boss 19 for its entire run this season. Instead, after completing around 15 weeks, the superstar is reportedly set to hand over hosting responsibilities to guest anchors. Farah Khan and Karan Johar, taking over his responsibilities, have already started doing the rounds.

The décor also carries symbolic elements – an antlered bird in the living room and a lion in the garden serve as silent protectors of power. Outside, wigwam-style seating creates a community circle, while carved eyes across the space remind contestants that accountability cannot be avoided.

The theme of Bigg Boss 19 gives a political twist to the show as it will be Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar.

Bigg Boss 19 Grand Premier will be streaming on JioHotstar at 9 pm and on Colors TV at 10:30 pm. Viewers will have an early access, while those who prefer the traditional experience can continue watching the daily episodes on TV.

However, makers are yet to confirm the names. The participants will be revealed during the grand premiere tonight.

Salman Khan was once taking home more than ₹200 crore for a season of Bigg Boss in the past, according to Hindustan Times. However, this year, he is facing a staggering pay cut of nearly ₹100 crore in his hosting fee. 

Salman is reportedly charging around ₹10 crore per weekend this season. Unlike the previous years, however, the duration of his hosting stint has been reduced. If this is true, then this arrangement would bring Salman Khan's total earnings for Bigg Boss season 19 to about ₹150 crore.
