Court - State vs A Nobody Box Office Collection Day 2: The Tollywood movie starring Priyadarshi registered impressive Box Office numbers on first two days in theatres. Ram Jagadeesh directorial movie hit the big screen on the occasion of Holi on March 14, Friday, and witnessed 14.46 percent increase in earnings on Saturday.

The riveting movie netted 4.75 at the domestic box office on Day 2, March 15, film industry tracker Sacnilk reported. The movie set in 2013 in Visakhapatnam opened to 4.15 crore net and has so far done a business of 9.99 crore net in India. This figure takes into account 1.09 crore net collection witnessed on Sunday until 1:50 PM, as per Sacnilk early estimates.

However, the filmmakers in a post on Instagram claimed that the movie grossed more than 15.90 crore worldwide during 2-day run. The cation to the post states, “The lovely Telugu audience have stood up for great cinema, giving a BLOCKBUSTER VERDICT #CourtTelugu collects a gross of 15.90+ CRORES WORLDWIDE in 2 days.”

Produced under the banner Wall Poster Cinema, the film boasts a run-time of 2 hour 25 minutes. Court - State vs A Nobody recorded an overall 54.19 percent Telugu occupancy on Saturday.

About ‘Court - State vs A Nobody’

The Telugu courtroom drama features Priyadarshi in lead role, while the ensemble cast includes Priyadarshi, Harsh Roshan, Sridevi, Sivaji, Sai Kumar, Harsha Vardhan, Rohini, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Surabhi Prabhavathi and Rajasekhar Aningi.

In the compelling narrative, Harsh Roshan plays the role of Mettu Chandrashekar, the son of a watchman, who earns his living by doing various jobs. Sridevi Apalla in the role of Jabilli, is a student from a respectable family in the same city. Following their encounter, the duo start talking over the phone.

The twist in the plot comes when Mettu gets arrested and is faced with false allegation of the POCSO Act. Jabilli’s uncle Mangapathi, a caste fanatic, who is bent on ruining Mettu's life gets him arrested and under false allegation of the POCSO Act. The legal drama is presented by Nani and is reportedly produced with a budget of 4 crore.
