The nominations for the 2025 Filmfare Awards have officially been announced, spotlighting some of the year’s most celebrated performances and films. With a healthy mix of blockbusters, critically acclaimed dramas and debut efforts, the line-up reflects the diversity of contemporary Hindi cinema.

2025 Filmfare Nominations are OUT

Leading the way is ‘Laapataa Ladies’, Kiran Rao’s socially grounded drama, which finds itself across multiple categories including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress (Critics).

‘Stree 2’ also secures a strong presence, especially in acting, music and technical categories. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ makes a powerful mark with nods in the Best Actress and Best Choreography slots, further bolstering Bhatt’s reputation as one of the leading performers of her generation.
