Ibrahim Ali Khan ‘not a fantastic dancer’, but…: Nadaaniyan choreographer says Saif’s kid is ‘grounded’

Ibrahim Ali Khan is ‘not a fantastic dancer’, said Nadaaniyan choreographer Vijay Ganguly. Saif Ali Khan's eldest son, Ibrahim, debuted in Karan Johar's Netflix project – Nadaaniyan alongside Khushi Kapoor.

Ibrahim danced on the Tirkit Dhoom track in the movie, which Ganguly choreographed.

Talking to Midday, Ganguly said that even though Ibrahim isn't a fantastic dancer, he is “very hardworking” and puts in extra work to get the steps right.

Calling Ibrahim “grounded”, the choreographer said, “Ibrahim is not a fantastic dancer but a very hardworking one. Though he comes from a Nawabi family, he is grounded.”

“Every time he didn’t get a step right, my assistants would go out of our way to make sure he did it well,” he added.

The Tirkit Dhoom track features Ibrahim setting the mood for a celebratory evening with his killer dance moves, with Khushi also joining in.

The seasoned choreographer who recently worked with Ibrahim in Nadaaniyan has also worked with the young actor's father, Saif Ali Khan, and sister, Sara.

Vijay Ganguly, who worked with Saif in Chef, said the Nawab improved over time. “He will joke about things [but still] learn his steps.”

He also choreographed Ibrahim's sister, Sara Ali Khan, in the award-winning track Chaka Chak from the film Atrangi Re. Vijay won a Filmfare award for the hit dancer number.
