Shah Rukh Khan, and his family are set to temporarily shift to a new property, due to renovation at his palatial Bandra bungalow Mannat.
Several Bollywood celebrities like Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, already live live in Bandra's Pali Hill area, where SRK is shifting to.
But this is also the first time in 20 years that King Khan would be sharing his property with someone. So would the superstar now have ‘next-door neighbours’? Here's what we know
Shah Rukh Khan has leased two lavish duplex apartments in Bandra's Pali Hill area in Mumbai. He secured the luxury apartments for ₹8.67 crore for a period of three years, reported Hindustan Times.
The building, Puja Casa, is co-owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani, his son actor-filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani, and daughter Deepshikha Deshmukh.
SRK has leased two duplex apartments located on the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors of the building. The remaining floors are occupied by other residents of the building, sources aware of the matter told Hindustan Times.
Puja Casa has beenm the Bhagnanis' dwelling place for years now. Vashu Bhagnani and his wife, along with their children, live in the building. Jackky Bhagnani and his wife, actor Rakul Preet Singh, also reside there.
Shah Rukh Khan would be shifting to the same bulding with Gauri Khan, son Aryan Khan, daughter Suhana Khan, and youngest son AbRam Khan. This means that Bhagnanis will be effectively neighbours to the Khans, who would stay there while renovations go on in Mannat.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, renovation work at Mannat is set to begin in May, which includes a long-proposed extension of the bungalow.
Shah Rukh Khan had to obtain court approval for the extension, as Mannat is a Grade III heritage structure, and any structural changes require proper permissions. This means the Khan family will likely stay at Puja Casa for at least two years while the renovations are underway, reported HT.
