Prabhas marrying daughter of Hyderabad-based businessman? Actor’s team reacts

Baahubali-fame Prabhas has once again found himself caught up in wedding rumours. While many might be upset knowing that the rumoured bride is not his co-star Anushka Shetty, reports claim that Prabhas will be tying the knot in Hyderabad.

Amid the strong rumours, Prabhas' team has stepped up to dismiss the claims.

Prabhas tying the knot in Hyderabad?

Reportedly, Prabhas will be getting married soon. As per a report of Telugu News18, Prabhas' family has arranged his marriage with the daughter of a Hyderabad-based businessman. It further claimed that the actor's late actor-politician uncle Krishnam Raju’s wife Shyamala Devi is looking after his wedding preparations.

Amid this, Hindustan Times reported that multiple sources close to the actor have now denied the claims.

Prabhas' team also rejected his wedding rumours. "It's fake news. Kindly ignore," the team was further quoted in the report.

Reportedly, Prabhas' spokesperson in Mumbai also denied the wedding rumours, calling them 'fake news.'

However, this is not the first time that rumours about Prabhas' wedding have surfaced.

Prabhas is among the most eligible bachelors in the industry. Previously, he was linked to his Adipurush co-star Kriti Sanon.

Prabhas' upcoming work

On the work front, Prabhas was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD (2024) alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. After the success of the film, a sequel to Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2 is in the works. Prabhas is a part of the sequel.

Besides this, Prabhas has several other films lined up in the pipeline. Among them is the rom-com horror film The Raja Saab. He also has Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam. He will also be starring in the upcoming period war drama Fauji.

His next release will be Kannappa. Set to redefine mythological storytelling with its cutting-edge technology and breathtaking visuals, the film will be released on April 25, 2025.

In the film, Prabhas will be seen as Rudra. Vishnu Manchu takes centre stage as Thinnadu, a fearless warrior who transforms into Lord Shiva's ultimate devotee. Akshay Kumar will star in the role of Lord Shiva. Mohanlal plays Kirata.
