Actor Ram Charan turned 41 on Friday, March 27. And once again, he has turned his birthday into a massive celebration for his global fanbase!
Sticking to the tradition of “birthday gifts” for fans, the makers of his highly anticipated sports-action drama, Peddi, have officially dropped the Hindi teaser, titled Peddi Pehelwan.
“Wishing Mega Power Star Ram Charan a very Happy Birthday,” the makers wrote while sharing the 45-second teaser.
Directed by the National Award-winning Buchi Babu Sana, the teaser of the “rustic emotional drama” offers a pulse-pounding look at Ram Charan’s most rugged transformation yet.
In the teaser, Ram can be seen as a fierce, muscle-bound wrestler—sporting a thick beard, long tied hair, and an intensity that screams “power.”
As Ram's rugged avatar walks into a dusty field, he delivers the line: “Wrestling isn’t like cricket, where you just face a ball and bat. It’s a game where you face death itself”.
The teaser concluded with Ram Charan saying, “Dear, listen, my pride is my game”.

Peddi is set for a global release on 30 April 2026, followed by an extended holiday on May 1.
It was originally scheduled to release on 27 March 2026; however, it was delayed due to post-production.

Peddi, written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, stars Ram Charan in the titular role, while Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, Achiyamma.
Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu also have key roles in the drama.
The movie is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under his banner, Vriddhi Cinemas, and in collaboration with the production house Mythri Movie Makers.
