Ramayana teaser release today: The makers of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Ramayana' shared an important announcement about trailer date release on the occasion of Ram Navami. As the most awaited date has finally arrived, the team behind the upcoming film surprised audiences with first glimpse of their ambitious project featuring Ranbir Kapoor in Rama avatar.
The caption to the teaser states, "Rama is the greatest of all time because he lived a life where the choices he made were always in the benefit of the greater good, duty over desire, and sacrifice over self. His legacy continues to enhance and empower humanity over time and bring the belief in the goodness of the human spirit to resolve all conflict and bring peace to the world."

Fans had been eagerly awaiting to witness Ranbir Kapoor's first look as Lord Rama, since Nitesh Tiwari made the announcement. The Ramayana team unveiled the teaser today at a grand launch event.
On 26 March, the makers launched the first poster and confirmed that the film will arrive in theatres on 2 October, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. The film explores the themes of truth, duty and moral integrity. With Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman on board the music team, the much-hyped movie is the biggest film of current times and is planned to be released in two parts.
Set for Diwali release, Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana is directed by Nitesh Tiwari which features star-studded cast, including Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Sunny Deol as Hanuman besides Ranbir Kapoor as Rama.
